Upgrading Wordpress

Talk about a cobweb, I checked on my Wordpress version info and this site was running WP 2.0.4 (or some crap like that). I use Hostgator and I figured I would just allow the Fantastico Deluxe module do the upgrade. Yeah, that worked…NOT.
The upgrade said it worked and when I viewed the site, it was [...]

Ezinearticles and traffic

Admittedly, I’ve been more than skeptical that an article on ezinearticles.com would produce traffic. With millions of articles already on the site, how could “my” article ever find the light of day? So, being part of the 30 day challenge, I opted to follow through with their techniques and write just ONE article with no [...]

30 Day Challenge: Day 30

To send us out with a bang, the 30 DC team gave us some last bits of content. The teaching covered Dan’s method for building an empire around the key phrases. Ed finished off with a podcast about where to go from this point. Overall, I’m glad I participated.
As for me, I think I [...]

30 Day Challenge: Day 29

Ed came through with a ton of good stuff today. It was a rare experience as he stayed on topic and just gave solid information. For the people having problems getting their sites to rank well in Google, Ed offered the following suggestions:
1. Don’t pick a niche with little traffic
2. Don’t pick a niche with [...]

Thought Of The Day

Sometimes you read or hear something that is a simple statement but has profound significance. I read this today and I realized I’m still too small-minded in what I’m trying to do.

It takes the same amount of effort to promote a $1 dollar product as it does to promote a $100,000 dollar product.

30 Day Challenge: Day 28

The challenge is in the home stretch. I’ve come up with a theory that Guru Bob is the brains of the 30 DC crew. I find his videos the most helpful and full of content. Great stuff. The teaching today centered around researching competitors and backlinks. Using Google and Yahoo, you want to research and [...]

30 Day Challenge: Day 27

Today was bittersweet. The 30 DC team released some great content and then Ed Dale dropped the bomb: no “secret sauce”. When the challenge was in the early days, Ed promised to help the 30 DC with some secret technique(s) that would absolutely help your site get into the top spot on Google. It was [...]
