Website Name: HAMVISION
Website Link: www.hamvision.comwww.everonsoft.com

Please briefly describe your ebusiness.
I am President of Everon Soft Solutions. Basically I am a web & graphics designer and I am also in Internet marketing stuff.

Why did you pick this particular idea?
I love creativity, lots of colors. It started from my childhood; I was very famous in my school and group for my drawing skills and hand-writing, and my hobby just starts diverting from paper art to digital art.

Now… it’s just like a dream come true that I am in field of my choice, my passion, where everyday I create something new, something better then previous one.

Did you have any previous experience in this area?
Yes, I am in field professionally from past 4+ years. I am still learning, and still trying to improve my self.

How long did it take before you realized success or failure?
Well… some time in just a blink of eye, I think success is the smile on my face, satisfaction of my mind.

Why do you think you succeeded or failed?
Just as I mentioned above for me success is satisfaction of mind.

What things worked well?
Determination, sincerity to work and professionalism.

What things didn’t work well?
Can’t say, I haven’t faced anything like this yet.

What did you learn the hard way?
Never expect from others, try to “Do it yourself”.

Did you find any particular person, book, or site helpful?
Another thing I learned is that you have to learn everything by yourself; no one can fill your brain with knowledge. You need to fill it by yourself!

What advice would you give to someone considering an ebiz today?
Whatever you want to do, don’t throw it on tomorrow, do it today!

Ebiz Interview: Fireside Media

Website Name: Fireside Media
Website Link: http://www.firesidemedia.net

Please briefly describe your ebusiness.
I am the President of a small web development firm that specializes in SEO, SEM, and XHTML web design.

Why did you pick this particular idea?
It really just started evolving…we didn’t pick it, it picked us.

Did you have any previous experience in this area?
I’ve been a web developer for 6 years, so yes, I have.

How long did it take before you realized success or failure?
It’s taken about a year or so, we’ve been slowly planning, developing, and marketing to get to the point we are at now with our portfolio of websites.

Why do you think you succeeded or failed?
Hard work, dedication, and being willing to learn and try new things. Must give some to take some.

What things worked well?
Finding a good team to work with. Find some other dedicated individuals and work hard together.

What things didn’t work well?
Hmmm I haven’t found anything yet really. Most everything has worked out well.

What did you learn the hard way?
If you’re serious about managing a site, do NOT use shared hosting. I ran into problem after problem with shared hosting. I went dedicated and I’ve never looked back. I pay a pretty penny every month for the server, but it’s worth every cent. I currently use LiquidWeb and I highly recommend them to everyone.

Did you find any particular person, book, or site helpful?
Matt Cutts. He is a bank of knowledge. Good guy, definitely worth checking out.

What advice would you give to someone considering an ebiz today?
Read, read, read. Learn from other people. Talk, join forums, be part of a community. I’ve learned almost all I know from other people and reading. Don’t be afraid to try new things.

Ebiz Interview: Free TLD – Free Domain Names

Website Name: Free TLD – Free domain names
Website Link: http://freetld.net

Please briefly describe your ebusiness.
I am giving away free domain names ( .com, .net, .info etc. ) and free web hosting on a credit base. The user has to post on my forum and bring other members in.

Why did you pick this particular idea?
I had 40 .info domains I wasn’t using and I wanted to monetize them somehow.

Did you have any previous experience in this area?
Yes. I have been monetizing and trading domain names for about one year.

How long did it take before you realized success or failure?
I realized success very fast. In about 6 or 7 weeks I reached the 4000 members milestone.

Why do you think you succeeded or failed?
I succeeded because my website got a lot of promotion and it still does. Also I started earning my first real money with adsense.

What things worked well?
The traffic to my website and the earnings.

What things didn’t work well?
The script and forum. I have had a few problems, but fixed them and everything worked ok then.

What did you learn the hard way?
The hardest part is the Internet marketing. If you find a good way to market your business, then everything else should be ok. You should try better or quit.

Did you find any particular person, book, or site helpful?
Yes. I have been helped by people from digitalpoint.com, seopedia.ro, and my friends.

What advice would you give to someone considering an ebiz today?
Even if you look around in the ebiz and see the market is taken by the big websites, don’t quit. With a good marketing idea and some skills you can get up soon. If you think you are not good enough, then try a niche.
