Here’s the gist, this guy named Dan takes up a challenge to earn 15k in one month with a starting capital of only 150 dollars. I’ll let you read about whether he was successful or not.

I suggest you take the time and read through the blog from the beginning. Dan dispenses virtually everything he tried to make his goal and you can learn a lot from his commentary.

I won’t give much away but there is an interesting decision Dan made. When he chose his niche (krafts) he decided to make up a woman named Teri. He used this fictional character throughout the campaign and even grabbed a stock photo of some fairly attractive woman. Definitely going gray-hat on that one but I’m still debating if it’s any different than Betty Crocker.

Now this call is definitely unlike any B.S. “preview” call you may have heard before. In fact, I’m not quite sure what to expect myself because I’ve got lots of different people hopping on. Truly, it’ll be more like a party than a teleconference call – and you’ll get the gifts! (I’ll mention those in a minute.)

The insiders know that there are BS preview calls?! Gee, I wonder which gurus do that? What’s funny is that when you get so many of these E-mails, you quickly learn that they all use the same tactics. I wonder why? Maybe they all copy each other? There’s hardly an original idea in the bunch.

Typical False Hype:

1. Guru claims that he doesn’t “know what’s gotten into him”, “must be crazy”, or “has gone too far THIS time”
2. Guru claims the idea came to him while at some exotic or fancy location
3. Guru claims to be giving his list the “real thing” while admitting that others don’t
4. Guru claims learning this information will “propel you to the next level”
5. Guru claims only a limited number of slots, seats, or books are available
6. Guru claims the “insane” offer ends soon so you MUST hurry
7. Guru claims you will get a massive amount of bonus/free material worth 1000’s of dollars

Please, be a critical thinker in life and in business.

Simple math: 150 x 5000 = 750,000 dollars.

P.S. He’s getting all those that didn’t get the 150 seats to sign-up for his second chance offering.

For me, red flags of danger start waving when:

1. You get semi-useful, common sense “free” ebooks released
2. You get all the “gurus” plugging it to their lists
3. You get a sudden E-mail from Rich saying “WARNING: There are 36,832 people receiving this email and there are only 1,500 passes available. If I were you, I would STOP READING this email and go DIRECTLY to my site to get your “front-of-the-line” pass that I told you about yesterday.”
4. You get testimonials posted detailing outstanding successes (and they include fellow ebiz gurus)
5. You read glowing and non-criticial testimonials on multiple ebiz websites
6. You find candid comments saying “Several months ago, a fast-talking Web marketer named Rich Schefren tracked me down… and we began a long damn conversation about something near and dear to both our hearts: Creating a killer “money funnel” online that automatically attracted, captured and vitually hypnotized vast mobs of prospects… and flipped them, fast and easy, into becoming eager, loyal paying customers.”
7. You find a website with Rich’s name and registered to his company asking you to “authorize the $697 monthly membership to be billed to my credit card.”

To point 5 above, when I read other sites saying things like “Just Realeased June 27th. Written by Rich Schefren, one of THE most sought after business consultants (even the gurus have him on their speed dial list)”, you should take notice.

I think flags are waving everywhere on this one. Anyone want to guess about how much this course will cost? 1000 dollars? 5000 dollars?

I can’t say if Rich will help you or your business. What I can say is that Rich is about to get a whole lot richer.
